Anne Reed our guest on Parents as Partners

On Monday, May 12 at 8 p.m. Milwaukee time, USM parent and Milwaukee-based lawyer Anne Reed will be our guest on Parents as Partners webcast.

Anne will discuss her move from social networking skeptic to well-respected blogger–and why “well-respected blogger” is no longer an oxymoron!

This Parents as Partners webcast is a must for anyone who is wondering, “Why would I want to try blogging or Facebook?” or “Why don’t kids answer their emails?” or “What does Cindy mean when she says, ‘I’m going to Jott to my Twitter account.’?”

To join us, go to www.edtechtalk.com and click on “Participate Live!” in the upper right hand corner.  Then select an audio stream channel in the upper right hand corner.  If you’d like to chat while listening (comments on multi-tasking reserved for another time), enter a user name to the left and start clicking away.

If you can’t join us Monday, the show will be archived.

Parents as Partners is hosted by Lorna Costantini, USM’s Matt Montagne, and Rhoda Cipparone.  I serve as “resident parent.”  You’ll hear us at your computer while each of us will be sitting by our computers in our respective homes in metro Milwaukee and Canada.

Hope you can join us!
