I’m a mom of three children (15, 10, and 9), living in the suburbs of southeastern Wisconsin. Not too far and directly south of us is the “inner city.” Not too far and north is an invisible line that is sometimes called “Wisconsin” and sometimes called “outstate.” I work outside the home, but primarily from my home. My husband and I have been married for twenty-three years. Southeastern Wisconsin has been my home for all but my years in college and grad school.
